"My husband and I love learning about the history of our 'neighborhood'. The Brick Historical Society has done a great job showing what living in Brick was like in the mid-1800s."

Carol Strelic

"I have been here various times over the past 10 years for civil war reenactments, summerfest activities, school field trips, and for caroling choir. And I've always found something to love about the place ever tine I've been. There's alot of charm to historical sites such as this one and alot that you come to appreciate about how interior design of buildings have changed since the times when this building was constructed. Like how stairs are no longer 10 inches each step, and how if you're like be being 6'4 you quickly realize how short people were back when they built this place, where just standing normally my head is 2 inches away from some of the lowest points of the ceiling and some of the shorter doorways only come up to my chin, it's always pretty funny coming back time and time again after all of these years each time feeling like the house has been shrinking."

Kyle Petzold

"Really good little museum that portrays life in Herbertsville in the old days."
