What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bernard J. Cooke Memorial Park is praised for its excellent, newly redone playground and charming mini bike track, making it a hit with families. Visitors appreciate the skate park and walking paths. However, concerns are frequently raised about the playground equipment becoming excessively hot on sunny days and occasional issues with park cleanliness.
"Nice playground equipment. Bike track for small children is nice. Could be cleaner. Gross items, broken vape pens, straws, bottle caps,....come on people clean up after yourselves!! Just like others noted, the equipment is too hot on sunny days, can't even touch the slides. Not quite the off season and no bathroom facilities. It's for children there needs to be something in place for them. No water to wash up either. I was prepared for some of this due to reading other reviews. There are tables to sit at under the pavilion to shade you from the sun. But that area is not kept clean either. Older kids that hang out there probably have no problem with any of it. The skate board area and ball field were kept up with from what I saw."

"Really beautiful peaceful park with a small pleasant walking path. Awesome playground for kids of all ages. Loved watching the skateboarders by the skateboard park. Not so much shade so recommend stopping by the Wawa nearby to get some cold drinks first."

"We love this park, mostly on days the sun isn't to strong because a lot of the equipment gets super hot! Like, to hot for littles to play on or slide down. And, whenever it's not insanely packed with tons of families that don't live over here. No room to "play" when there's to many people. But it's a great park, I Don't blame them!"
