Visitors appreciate the Olinda Oil Museum and Trail for its unique historical exhibits and scenic hiking loop. The outdoor displays of vintage oil equipment are a hit, offering a glimpse into Brea's past. The trail provides beautiful panoramic views, though some note the lack of shade and the trail's steep, gravelly sections. The limited museum hours are a common point of consideration.

"It's so cool to see the history on display. The museum was closed, but there are historic buildings and equipment outside, each with informative plaque. There isn't too much to see, but there is a trail that goes up into the hills and around the wells, and I would encourage everyone to take a hike after learning about the area's history. Lots of wildlife and beautiful views."

"The Olinda Oil Museum and Trail is a unique museum and hiking trail spot that marked their 100-year anniversary back in 2012. It is located in a beautiful subdivision in Brea. The Field House was once the office and headquarters of the bustling Olinda oil operation. Moreover, it is the centerpiece of the 12-acre Olinda Oil Museum and Trail.

The trail is open daily from 9am to 4pm while the museum is open on Wednesday (10-2pm) and Sunday (12-4pm). They require reservation for museum tour. Parking is very limited but ample of street parking. Overall, I enjoyed visiting this historic Oil rig place in Southern California."
