"We planned our whole 12 day coast road trip around visiting this museum (see the hours) and it was 100% worth it! Our children, 10 & 8, play piano and were excited to try the organs. We were NOT disappointed! They were able to play every organ in the museum, some are over 100 years old. Though it is on the smaller side, there is a variety of organs available to play. We stayed for 90 minutes!
The docents were a wonderfully sweet couple, very inviting, knowledgeable about the history of Estey Organs and pleased to see our boys happily playing the organs.
Not only were the organs cool to look at, the story of Jacob Estey is definitely an interesting one. He overcame lots of adversity and became a successful entrepreneur. It is the great American success story.
Be sure to check out the list of worker injuries and the settlement amount awarded to them. It was very interesting."
