I had the honor of placing wreaths on our Veteran’s graves at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Wreaths Across America. I was blessed to be able to place a wreath at my Father’s burial site. Please join me in sponsoring more wreaths for next year so that all our heroes are honored. Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery as a beautiful and deeply moving tribute to those who served. The vast displays of flags and the solemn atmosphere are frequently highlighted as powerful aspects of the experience. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some note the importance of strict adherence to funeral service time limits.

"Hundreds of people there for the Wreaths Across America event. Over 12,000 wreaths laid at this cemetery alone. Great ceremony and it was extra special to see the members of the local Civil Air Patrol unit and the elderly Veterans there in attendance."

"🇺🇲ACT RESPECTFUL WHEN HERE🇺🇸

This is sacred ground for our country's dedicated, honorable men and women who deserve our utmost respect when present at their final resting places.

I have attended military honoring funerals, visited gravesites, and brought family to honor those who have served in [our] family through their service and sacrifices.

I have observed some gravestones needing attention, and my family did some clearing. More care is needed.

UPDATE March 2024:
I attended [& participated in] a funeral here two days ago. Ground care is much better now. The cemetery worker I interacted with, Hunter, was very accommodating and compassionate, and I respected his assistance & overall demeanor & communications with funeral groups (along with the administration staff). Thank you so much, Hunter.
Also, the military members who participated in the funeral were dignified, precise, caring of family attending, and thoroughly respectful of the person who died and the funeral for whom this was for. They, too, represent the best of our country.

Parking and restrooms are adequate. The funeral hall is clean and large for the services of large families and friends.

Road signs help guide you to this hallowed ground from the main part of Boulder City.

NOTES: The gravesite locator at the administration building is extremely helpful if you do not know where your loved ones are at rest. There are above-ground crypts and in ground gravesites.

May all those that have served, passed, and rest here be given the highest regard by all citizens, family, and friends the United States people have always strived to achieve."

"My Mother served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict 1953. We buried her at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery with a 30 minute service. Unfortunately during the service (which started late because the family before us went over their time) one of the maintenance men (Hunter) walked up to the front of the Chapel and interrupted the Singer to say “it was time to go.” We were appalled someone would do something SO RUDE, which ruined the nice recording we were making of the service. There was no one after our service, we started late and only got 20 minutes of a planned 30 minute service. Note to others: You MUST start at your scheduled time, if the service before you is running long, get Hunter to kick them out (which is what we should have done!) We just figured we’d still get our 30 minute service even though it started late. We were so disappointed ☹️"
