What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking 360° views and the comfortable seating, making it a standout attraction. The friendly staff, particularly bartenders, enhance the experience. However, some find the mall signage confusing for locating the entrance, and the 'After Dark' experience may not be ideal for photography due to window glare.
"The highlight of our visit was the service. Natalie, our bartender, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. She really helped make the experience feel special.
The views were incredible. We caught the sunset over the city and were able to get some amazing photos. On top of that, it was a huge plus that they actually had comfortable seating. We’ve been to observation spots in New York that are standing-room only, which makes it hard to really enjoy yourself. Here, we were able to sit down, relax, and take in the atmosphere, which made the experience so much better.
Getting there was a little confusing since the lounge is tucked in the middle of the mall and signage isn’t very clear. At first, we only made it to the top level, which felt small and had an area sectioned off, so it didn’t seem worth it. Thankfully, we discovered the second level just below, and that’s where everything came together.
Overall, once you find your way, this spot is absolutely worth it. Great staff, great vibe, and unbeatable views—we’d definitely go back."

"I absolutely loved this place, without a doubt the best tourist attraction in Boston. Located downtown on one of the city’s highest points, it’s modern and has everything a great attraction should offer. I also found the price to be excellent for the experience. My tip: go in the late afternoon. You’ll catch Boston’s golden hour with the sunset and still get to enjoy the nighttime view.. 🌇🌃"

"Cool experience. If you have seen other 360 observation experiences (Guinness in Ireland, NYC, Chicago) this rivals most. Handled our group of 6 well. People were courteous. Try and catch the sunset! We got a discount through City Pass."

The View Boston Experience: More Than Just a View
Beyond the visual spectacle, View Boston aims to engage visitors with its modern design and welcoming ambiance. The presence of a bar and restaurant means you can extend your visit, enjoying a drink or a meal while taking in the breathtaking scenery. This makes it a versatile destination, suitable for a quick sightseeing stop or a more leisurely outing.
Real travelers highlight the importance of exploring all the available floors. Some initially only discovered the smaller top level, missing out on the full experience. Ensuring you descend to the level below reveals more comprehensive views and amenities, making the visit truly worthwhile.
Capturing Boston's Skyline: Photography at View Boston
Many visitors and creators recommend visiting during the 'golden hour' leading up to sunset. This allows you to photograph the city in daylight, witness the magical transition as the sun sets, and then capture the illuminated cityscape at night. However, be mindful of window glare, especially during evening hours. Positioning yourself directly in front of the glass and avoiding flash can help mitigate this.
While the 'After Dark' packages are available, some travelers advise against them if photography is your primary goal. The reflections on the glass can be quite prominent at night, making it difficult to get clear shots of the city lights. For the best photographic results, daytime visits or the period just before sunset are generally considered superior.
