Visitors consistently praise Boston Harbor City Cruises for their incredible whale watching experiences and stunning sunset tours. The knowledgeable and engaging guides, along with the well-maintained vessels, contribute to a memorable and educational time on the water. While some find the boat rides can be a bit rocky, the overall consensus is overwhelmingly positive, with many recommending these cruises for their unique views and wildlife encounters.
"This was my first time going on a whale watch with Boston Harbor City Cruises. It was a beautiful day (6/24/25) and the water was extremely calm. We saw a few humpback whales that continued to entertain us for the duration of the time out there. At one point, one even breached. It was a fun time and the guide kept us informed on their locations, which were pretty close to the boat. I only ordered a water (it was pretty hot out) and the cost was reasonable. The ride out as well as back in was comfortable and the guide even came around talking to the patrons and seeing if we had questions. It was a lovely day and I recommend anyone wanting to see whales to book with them."
