"The Jones House is a big part of King street. They have occasional music and also have art work hanging in one of their rooms set up as a gallery.
It’s a representation of Boone & Watuaga county’s cultural life. It’s wonderful that you can walk in and use the public restroom as well & also enjoy the outdoor seating anywhere on the property. We noticed some students getting some work done and others just hanging out with friends.
For a moment we sat on the front porch & watched as life is in full swing on one of the busiest bustling streets in town. I took pics of the room that holds family photos of those that once owned this home. Having a bit of a history lesson.
Stop by & enjoy!

"We all stopped here because it's one of the few available public restrooms on main-street Boone. There’s good visitor info here and they were displaying a local artist’s work in gallery. Seems like the kind of place you’d find me at often if I was in college or lived in the area."
