Reviews Summary

The Boone Fork Trail is a highly recommended 5-mile loop offering a beautiful mix of waterfalls, creek crossings, and scenic views. While generally moderate, it presents challenges like muddy sections and slippery rocks, making waterproof footwear essential. It's a favorite for many, though some find the falls underwhelming and suggest it's better for seasoned hikers than those seeking a leisurely stroll.

"Nice loop, relatively flat with a few steep rocks and creek crossings. A great 5ish mile hike in the morning with a couple good viewpoints."

Michael H

"This trail did Not Disappoint. We did the trail clockwise as was recommended in other reviews and I think that's the way to go for sure if you plan on doing the entire loop. Most of the more interesting sites are at the end of the trail if you hike it this way. There weren't any really difficult parts. There is a "ladder" part, i took a picture of it if you are going CW you'll have to go down this ladder. Not hard just go facing the ladder you'll be fine. Lots of bridges and running water, we saw deer that were really close to us. Great hike the whole family loved it. Highly recommend."

Michael N

"This hike is moderate, at times a little tough. All trail guides says that there is a ladder on the trail, I'd call it more of a steep set of stairs. Wear water proof shoes, many trips across running water where you'd be better off stepping in and walking than walking across the small 3" tree that's been layed across the water. Trail was very muddy due to the amount of rain this week. I suggest you not even waste the time to look at the falls, it was a huge let down for our group. It was like....oh, what falls? Ok, turn around, let's go. Lol. We took the left trail coming in, which I would totally suggest doing it that direction. Pictures are in no particular order to when they were taken on the trail. The trail was marked extremely well with orange diamond markers."
