"This wetland is a MUST SEE! I remember when it was a park between the roads. I brought my kids back to see it and was surprised to see this BEAUTIFUL wetland! Strangely, I was actually planning to take them to another city the next day to show them another wetland. This one COMPLETELY blew the other one away. This wetland naturally filters the water for the creek that runs through Cascades Park—where I also visited as a child. The Miller-Showers Park wetland looks like something one would see in Southeast Asia! I knew both about this prior to our visit a few years ago, but I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! You HAVE to see this!! I was reminded to give this review now since my oldest daughter is taking her family there today! Also, visit lower Cascades and see the creek this wetland serves. Cascades also has a Falls Trail that goes from Kinser Pike to the park. I would give this destination 10 stars if I could."
