"A beautiful area on campus near most of the main Indiana University buildings and the fraternity and sorority houses, as well, this is a small wooded area that many students have founded inspirational and/or romantic over the years.
There are many paths cutting through the woods in various directions, well lit for safety at night. In summer, it is a great place to get a break from the heat while in winter, it is beautiful when adorned with snow.
Be on the look out for squirrels, chipmunks, cardinals and other midwestern "critters".
Pro Tip
Be sure to visit (and have a picnic if so inclined) the remains of the Rose Wells house at the east edge of the woods."

"Neat, little forest which allows one to take a brief break from the cityscape when walking to classes. The squirrels definitely have a good time here."
Hunter Richman
"A beautiful little forest, but very sketchy at night. I came here several times around 2 AM, and did not feel safe at all. You are not supposed to carry a weapon on campus but if you are going to come here late at night, definitely at least carry pepper spray or a knife, especially if you are a woman. The place just feels like a place to be murdered at"
