"Breathtaking scenery - such a beautiful lake. Encountered surprising weather on October 1st - it snowed the day before, but the warm sun made it feel much warmer than 42 degrees..."

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking scenery of Sabrina Lake, especially during the vibrant fall foliage season. While the abundance of mosquitoes in summer is a common complaint, many find the stunning views and enjoyable hiking trails well worth the minor inconvenience. The well-marked paths and opportunities for peaceful reflection by the lake are frequently highlighted as positives.

"What an amazing view! We planned our visit with the California Fall Color Map to arrive at just the right time."

"Easy moderate trail around one side of the lake 😎 the road also has trails through the trees and the creek that connects to the lake 🥰❤️"

Misty

"I will begin by saying start with anything mosquito repellent and when you think you have enough on, put more on. The mosquitoes are in abundance and out to feed. No doubt about it. That is to be expected so no real negatives there. Just be prepared. The trail is well marked a little rocky in places and a couple of small water passes but nothing serious . Trail is well covered from the elements with a decent amount of elevation gain and lots to look at. Was an enjoyable hike and don't be afraid to pack a lunch and sit by the lake about 3 mi up from the trailhead. Great place to stop and bring in the beauty and just relax 💖 hope you enjoy it as much as we did."
