"I know that today there is government assistance programs for emergency situations for someone on hard times and the person i speak of would never ask for a penny now I am not one to ask for help myself but I called this church to show compassion like our father says to have right ? And we are asked to tithe in the Bible to help the church and the community! I was cut off right away and I almost begged cause I woman in her 50s broke her ankle and works for a living at hitachi and is only shy part of her rent with two little girls ! It is sad that we are treated so rudely the father sees everything we do and not one is better than another! I’ve helped what I can and just to say this as I’m not one that I feel like anyone owes anything to anyone and yes there are many who won’t hit a tap but this woman is truly in need and is only needing help she is waiting on her short term disability which she pays into but it’s a 1/3 of her regular income so she is going to be evicted and it is sad that I am older disabled woman gave and has more of a heart and when I asked this one time could she give the pastor a message and that there is medical proof and what to send to the landlord not much guys okay she rudely like probably most all churches pushed me to a food bank ! Why do we pay tithing to churches for if when an older working woman who I offered to put in writing to pay back and notarize that too ! In the Bible times of tithing there was not government help so today your paying the church many churches don’t have a heart for a working single mother! Only if she is a member! All o asked would they consider taking a collection at the church! We live in the last days ! They tickle our ears and when the members of the church show no heart of Jesus ! Woe we live in the last days ! Makes me so sad but sadly wasn’t surprised! But god will move and she is healing fast thanks to the lord ! Reason for this comment is please if you say and believe you are a Christian do not loose having a heart as Christ did ! After all it was the outcast he seen hearts was softer then the ones who had an ear to hear and hearts were not to hard to care for someone in a hard time :-("
