"While traveling south from South Haven, Michigan to St. Joesph, Michigan, this pullover along the Blue Star Highway is a nice and quiet place to picnic or take a walk along the shore of Lake Michigan. It has lots of very interesting rocks...hence the name☺️"

"Absolutely love this beach. A not so hidden gem. During peak season parking can be tough to find but it’s always amazing to hang at the beach in the sand, water or even if your glass/rock hunting. No playground which is unfortunate but still recommend this beach to all!"
James Steele
"My favorite stop during our vacation. Short walk ( ramp) down to the beach. Had sand and rocks at the water line. We found so many cool rocks and even some sea glass. There were some areas of shade at the Dune line which was nice. They do have toilets but they are the outhouse type ones that my kids hate, but better than nothing. Someone left a bin of cute rocks they had painted with a sign to take one. Small parking lot. No cell service ( att)."
