Great to visit Museum of Scotland. The new Extension added in 1998 by Benson and Forsyth is a spatially and materially complex. Over 27,000 drawings were produced to build the building. Apparently all hand drawn! #architectureuncovered #architecture #museumofscotland #scottisharchitecture

"We have visited this Terrific Museum a few times now. So very many artifacts from the Old Days in and around Benson. And the Railway Room was wonderful for explaining its significance in the Old West and in Benson. I would recommend asking for a Tour as this really helped to explain the Significance of the Railway Build and the other Museum Rooms. No set fee for Museum Visit - Donation only. Very Enjoyable and Enlightening. Check ahead for hours of operation."

"This is a well set up larger size place for such a small town. In fact there are two buildings. They have 100 yr old items like the original school bus (a wagon).
The people working are truly kind and polite. You get a guided tour with some explanations. There is NO flat rate for entrance, but rather donations are accepted. This museum is privately run and NOT by the city of Benson.
Open 3 days a week until they can get more volunteers to help out."

"Super friendly and helpful. Buy the murals book there. Go see them all. It'll make you glad you did. Proceeds go to the artists. A real hidden gem of a town. Go to Mi Casa while you're there"
