What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary

"Today we've visited Old Mill District and we loved it!! A very nice mix of different kind of shops, great looking buildings and lovely artwork. This might just have become my favourite part of town!"

"There are great spaces here. You can have your pets, kids, bike, walk, enjoy the river or event listen to a show at the Amphitheater without a ticket. But, there is little diversity in the type of shopping you can do - and I don’t mean variety. Why they would develop this space and not have a place for quick and easy snacks, drinks or more casual places for dinning is beyond me; other than the price of the rent. I love REI and they are an anchor in this area and I love what they did with the store and what they offer. But I only found one place to simply stop and have a quick meal/snack and maybe a beer. A great location to stay in a nearby hotel and explore Bend but there was a reason people that came to the area had brought coolers and food from other places."

"This is a nice area along the river with walking and bike paths. Dog friendly. Lots of shopping and restaurants. Popular area for SUP and floating. There is a bridge to Hayden Homes amphitheater. Beautiful art and sculptures as well as history markers. Bend did it right with this area!"
