What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate Sweyolocken Boat Launch as a convenient and peaceful spot for launching kayaks and canoes onto Mercer Slough, offering great opportunities for wildlife viewing and beginner paddling. However, the limited parking and basic, shallow launch ramp are recurring points of feedback.
"A”primitive” boat launch onto the ( Mercer slough I’m guessing). Plenty of parking and an open area. No restrooms just honey bucket, no picnic tables but it’s near the “ snow house” and blueberry farm. Bring your canoe or kayak 🛶 and enjoy. There’s coyotes in and surrounding this area so my Great Pyr couldn’t go off- leash for in the marsh lands he’d be a Disapryenees! We found a better place to access the slough and walk on decks through it."

"Great place to put in a kayak! This is not closed - you just need to drive past the sewer construction work. There's parking and a place to turn around at the end of the road."
Victoria Scavezze
"Fun and safe place for beginners leaning how to kayak. We saw many Blue Haring, a few turtles, some ducks and ducklings in this wetland area."
