There are also picnic shelters, restrooms, and a parking lot(HARD TO GET)but lots in street , making it a convenient spot for families and visitors.
One of the highlights of the park is its scenic setting, with lovely views of Mount Rainier on clear days. The playground is thoughtfully designed with vibrant colors and engaging equipment, making it a hit with kids. However, accessibility could be improved—some areas, like the playground surface and parking, may be challenging for those with mobility needs.

"We had a Birthday party for a 3 year old. NOTE: There are only 2 covered & bench areas and they are on a first come first basis. (Some lady was there since 6:00 am to save a party area. We got there at 7:50 am and got the second one. Several people showed up after 8:00 am.) There is a lot of demand on a Saturday!
The park is fabulous especially for under 10 yo and parents. I highly recommend it."
