What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Mercer Slough for its beautiful, accessible wetland trails and the unique treehouse experience. The center's facilities are noted as excellent for events, and staff are commended for their engagement, especially with children during educational programs. While some mention acoustics aren't perfect, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, highlighting it as a serene escape within the city.
"When I have time to spare in Bellevue this is where I go. The facilities are nearly as beautiful to be in as the natural setting they celebrate. The only reason I do not give it five stars is I have not experienced the programs the Center offers. However, it makes a wonderful trailhead to hike around the acres of well-groomed wetland trails. Also, don't miss the treehouse! If it is locked, the staff will open it to you so you can climb right up into the forest canopy and watch for wildlife!"
Seth Bridges
"Good conference room facilities. Food preparation area, relaxed seating areas, (club chairs in groups) and more formal table and chairs.
Set above the slough, with some nice outdoor spaces for decks. Clean restrooms.
Acoustics are not great, but okay (hard surfaces)."
