Mount Moriah is revered as a profoundly sacred and historically significant site, drawing visitors for its deep religious importance and iconic architecture like the Dome of the Rock. While access can be restricted and requires modest dress, the spiritual atmosphere and historical weight are consistently praised. Some visitors note the complexity of navigating the site and its sensitive context.

"My 1st 4k footer and it was awesome. Hiking boots are a must as this trail has a bit of everything, especially rocks. This is not an easy hike so definitely bring water and snacks. At the summit the Gray Jay birds landed on our hands. What a shockingly beautiful experience this was."

Margaret Honan

"The trail is in great shape and well maintained. The parking spots are not a lot maybe about 10 cars. The trail has steady incline till the summit. It starts getting steep after mount surprise. The trail is rocky and full of slabs, but the rock has good grip. Probably could get tricky if it’s wet. The weather was perfect today a bit cloudy but had unobstructed view from the top. Today was the day when all 48 NH peaks have USA flag hoisted in the memory of 9/11. So was able to see that as well"

prabhas chaudhari

"Well, when All trails says it's "hard" and you're not use to Mountain hiking, take it serious!!! But it was beautiful and I made it! And yes despite my big toe nails being purple and unsure of if they'll fall off yet! Wear good hiking shoes and start early and it will be just fine! See pics! Very tranquil, beautiful and wow. Basically a 2 for 1. If you take Carter's Trail you'll get Surprise Mountain and Mount Moriah! You only live once right ? Or do you live everyday!?!"
