What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Veterans Memorial Park for its beautiful riverside location, refreshing breezes, and well-maintained grounds. The arboretum's Zen Path is a standout feature for its tranquility. While the park is generally well-loved, some note the presence of geese and ducks can make grassy areas less appealing.
"Great time being by the river, nice breeze to cool ya down on a hot day."

"Really nice park. Beautiful park with flowers and walking. They have created like a little zen area. It's a little path through the trees with little calming words and a couple of benches
I didn't take too many photos with phone camera.
I will go again. Bring peanuts for friendly squirrels :)"
Brenda Christensen
"Nice play area near the Saginaw river and apart of the parks downtown. Parks have paved paths for walking and bike riding. Geese and ducks are always present so watch where your walking and probably best to stay off of grass due to excessive droppings. It does have some nice spot for fishing from shore."
