"Not as huge as my hometown Cleveland, OH museums for sure, but, the history at BSHC is amazing.
2 floors here and plenty to see, read and learn. The military background and events are insane as well as the mining history as well."

"My family went out of our way to drive into Kansas, detouring on our way to Ft. Leonard Wood. We stopped here at the Heritage center to grab a Kansas magnet to add to our collection. I met the sweetest lady and enjoyed conversating with her. I don't remember her name, but she has lovely violet red hair (from the box she let me know!) She gave me details about all the magnet options, and was very hospitable. You never know the people you'll meet taking a random detour. Just a reminder to be kind and friendly to all. She was sweet and I'll remember her. I hope to visit more of Kansas one day."
