What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Blue Bayou Water Park offers a mix of water and theme park attractions, with many visitors praising the friendly staff, clean facilities, and rides suitable for all ages. However, some find the ticket prices and parking fees to be high, and occasionally, not all attractions may be operational.
"Taking my kids and my mom on a mini vacation to start the summer break, and we ended up at this theme park/waterpark. Unfortunately only the theme park part was open, not the water park-which is what we originally came for. However, we had such a great time! The theme park was just as fun , and they did have the splinter ride open which included water so we were able to cool off with that ride. My kids rage from 2-16 and all kids were able to ride multiple rides, they offer a variety of size rides for the little kids too! The employees were so nice and accommodating! Every worker we came in contact with was so very nice and helpful! A little short staffed- which may be because we came right when they opened-but employees were running multiple rides at a time, which i feel like they handled very well! If we walked up to a ride and the operator was at another ride, they were sure to recognize we were waiting and acknowledge we were waiting and to say "we will be right with you"- . No long wait for a ride, and multiple to choose from. My kids already want to go back so we definitely will return!"

"Really 1.5 stars but that’s no an option. Half the rides work, and extremely overpriced tickets. For a family of 5 it’ll cost about 300$ just to get in. That excluding food lockers and concessions. There are also rumors that the owner is closing the park permanently, but at the time of this post, it is still under debate. The positive things about this park is the rides are fun, some also look 28 years old. But nonetheless, this is a fun theme/water park."

"My wife and I took our children and grandchildren here for the 4th of July. Wheat early enjoyed it. My wife spent most of her time in the lazy river and the wave pool which she loved. I rode some of the rides with our children and grandchildren. They were a lot of fun! We had hot dogs and hamburgers at one of the cantina's. They were pretty good. I'm sure we will be going back next year."
