"This is a beautiful landmark in Bastrop, TX. The grounds are well kept, I don't believe I've ever seen any trash on the ground, there are porta-potties as well which I thought was considerate. There are a few Pokemon Go stops and two gyms, so fairly often a group of us all will tackle a raid there. Now, if you go to the top most point the views are spectacular. You can see all of old Bastrop, spilling out into the valley towards the Colorado River and past towards Austin."

"This is a very beautiful cemetery with old graves from the Eighteen hundreds. There are German Immigrants, local families and a former Texas Governor buried here. Many old graves have an iron fence around them. There are some war babies buried here too.
The angel statue holding a baby is really beautiful.
The grass is nearly cut everywhere and the beauty of the wildflowers is respected.

This Fairview cemetery has many interesting and historic gravestones.
Also there are very many more recent graves that are beautifully decorated.
