"They opened up this spot yesterday since hurricane Helene and had to come up and check the view out. Was worth every minute of getting lost, hiking up the Mountain to Sea trail and bypassing the Devils Courthouse main parking. Went to the top for some breath taking views! Highly recommend! After hiking back down to my vehicle, we came back up to the parking lot to capture a photo of the rock or “court house” and get a picture with the sign."

"It’s like a totally different world and vantage point up on top here. The wind picks up because here it isn’t blocked by mountain which is nice after a steep albeit short hike. Def worth stopping only takes 10 maybe 15 mins with breaks to get up to top."
Patrick K
"If you’re looking for an easy-ish hike with a fantastic view for a payoff, this is it. I say easy because for the most part it’s a paved trail, about halfway up. The rest of the trail I guess you’d call primitive, gravel, rocks, wood steps.
Peregrine Falcons nest at the top under the overhang and there are many sensitive species of plants so no going over the edge or off trail, please and thank you.
If you have energetic kids this will wear them out a bit. Strollers would be a pain here if you have way smaller kids. Hiking to the top of this one is something folk with health problems would need to judge for their particular ailment."
