Reviews Summary

Visitors find Brices Cross Roads National Battlefield Site to be a historically significant and easily accessible location, perfect for a brief stop. Its informative markers and central monument offer a poignant glimpse into a key Civil War battle. However, the lack of shade and minimal facilities are noted drawbacks.

"Very cool national park. Its a very small park located at a four way intersection. Short walk from one road side to the other to read the signs and see the cannons. Doesn't take too long to see, so you'll have plenty of time to cross the border into Tennessee to see Shiloh National Military Park and travel to Corinth to see its sister park, stop in at Tupelo National Battlefield, Natchez Trace Parkway visitor center, Tupelo National Military Park, and stop in at the Elvis Presley Birth Place Museum all in one day."

Susan Hardee

"Was an interesting quick stop to see part of American history. Where neighbors fought neighbors and to know we were walking on ground that was bloodied in battle. Its quite humbling to see the grave stones and monument. Very informative on the battle lines. Worth a quick stop that took maybe 20 minutes!"

Carla Blasing

"We had a beautiful drive getting there and it's really the perfect size. We weren't exhausted when we finished and it didn't take all day. Lots of interesting information was provided on plaques and historical markers."
