What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Travis County Exposition Center hosts a variety of popular events, from large fairs and car shows to music festivals. While many visitors enjoy the entertainment and atmosphere, some events can suffer from significant traffic congestion and disorganization during entry and seating, leading to frustration for attendees.
"So my husband and I came here for my birthday weekend and came to see the denim and diamonds tour with King George and Sir Charles. This was definitely a long time in traffic. Trying to get to the event center was horrible. We sat in the turning lane for an hour, and a 1/2 people were cutting each other, driving down the wrong side of the road, cutting people off. 🤯 It was a hot mess. The police and the fire trucks had a hard time trying to get through. Then, once we finally got to the exposition center. The line was at least half a mile long. 👀 There was no type of coordination at this event. Everyone was cussing, saying it was some B.S. 🤬 It was horrible once we got in, also. SMH, we paid for number seats once you got in. They just told people to sit anywhere. So this will be the last time we will come to an event here. There were people smoking cigarettes and weed right behind us. So we had to move a couple of times🙄 The singers were pretty good. I'm not really a blues fan, but it was just somewhere to go, but they don't ever have to worry about us coming again🤦♀️ Where them Fans At🎶... They will be at home🤠🤣"

"Texas Lonestar Roundup car show and swap meet is one of the best car show events I've been too. I go every year, and sometimes both days. Admission and a wrist band allows returning the next day. Check it out. It's custom rods but also faithfully restored antique and vintage cars from the 1930s-1969's and sometimes 70s."

"We went here to the Luedecke arena for a concert and it was horrible. The entrance gate was locked, and traffic was bottle necked and funneled through a back entrance. Three were no parking attendants, so people were passing everywhere. There was a lack of staff, 1 security officer, and 1 police officer for a whole music concert. We paid for floor seats. The rows and seats weren't numbered or labeled. People sat wherever they wanted. It was a mess. There were no concessions, so we were thirsty, and if you didn't eat, you were hungry. I will not be returning."
