What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Aurora Skate Center offers a fun and affordable roller skating experience with a long history of family entertainment. Visitors appreciate the value for money, friendly staff, and the lively atmosphere, especially during adult nights. However, some note that rental skates could be updated, and the music selection could be more varied for younger audiences.
"The place is on the outskirts of the city, but not too far to reach. The building, though old, has a modern look. Skating here is a lot of fun. The best part is that skates are available for rent at just $5, and for $10 you get unlimited skating time (up to 3 hours from 1–4 PM). They also offer skating lessons from 12–1 PM for only $2. It’s enjoyable even just to watch people skate. My 6-year-old daughter loved the experience, and we’re planning to visit every weekend."

"Great price for entry and rentals. Clean rink. Fair prices on snacks and drinks. The bathrooms were a cloud of marijuana smoke. This made an on the spot time to teach about illegal underage drug use. Most all skaters were polite on the rink, except as the night went on some in a pack of 3 became aggressive. We are confident skaters and this was our third visit this year. We will definitely come back again soon, but hope for better variety of music with more lyrics for families of kids, tweens and teens. We hope to make the cut on the song request list for some "Rock with You" Michael Jackson or "Dancing Machine" and "I want You Back" Jackson 5 next time...we also love Stevie Wonder and "Boogie Wonderland" by Earth Wind and Fire.

"It was great for what it is. Friendly staff, clean floor. It seems a little shabby for the prices they are charging but I bet it's hard to keep a place like this running. They had a DJ, a bunch of staff keeping kids safe. The rentals were in pretty rough shape. It would be a 5 star if the rentals were a bit nicer and it was a big updated. All and all great family fun and highly recommend."
