"I've been to the NC Fossil Festival in Aurora for the last two years and I plan to be back this year too. I've always been a huge fan of fossils and have loved the opportunity that the Festival gives me to add to my personal fossil collection. It's always fun meeting new people at the Festival and exploring all it has to offer. The museum is cool, especially if you like shark's teeth. It's always fun to dig in the pits, especially if a new sediment pile has recently been delivered. I haven't found anything too crazy, but I have found shells, fossilized coral chunks, and a couple shark's teeth. If you are a fossil lover, I would definitely recommend this little museum in this little town in North Carolina. It's worth the drive out there! Also, there is a silent auction during the fossil festival. Got a lot of extraordinary pieces in my collection from that."
