What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Viles Arboretum for its beautiful natural setting, diverse trails, and integrated art installations. The free admission and year-round accessibility are significant draws, making it a beloved community resource. While most trails are family-friendly, some outer paths may present challenges for those with mobility issues.
"This place is gorgeous with lovely art and trails. The historical plaques are also very interesting."

"I come to Viles Arboretum about once a month to hike, which I enjoy. However, I wanted to comment on my recent experience in the new barn! David went above and beyond for the Project WILD event to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed. He had tremendous enthusiasm as a facilitator."
Amanda Reimer
"Went on the outer trail late morning/early afternoon on a crisp fall thursday. The trail was well groomed, but the portion through the forest was a bit difficult; i would not consider it handicap accessible. Most of the trails go through the grassy knoll and are less difficult, so would be great for the whole family. We saw a Great Blue Heron hunting for fish in one of the small ponds. There are many educational plaques throughout and there were many families with small children on picnics. Dogs are allowed, just PLEASE keep them on a leash."
