What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Long Branch Nature Center and Glencarlyn Park as a beautiful, peaceful, and family-friendly destination. The paved trails are great for strollers, and the playground is a hit with kids. Some mention the facilities could use a little upkeep, but the natural beauty largely overshadows this.
"We took our babies here for the first time on 4/7/21. I would probably give it 5 stars but to be fair we did not see a lot of the park and the nature center itself was closed. It was also very crowded with people. To be expected based on where the park is located. The main trails here are paved so it's stroller friendly. Most of the trails are very close to the river that runs through the area. This was a great place to walk and there is an awesome playground with a big sand pit that our kids loved. We will surely go back and visit and try to get inside the nature center."
