What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Ellen O. Moyer Nature Park for its beautiful waterfront views, easy walking paths, and convenient kayak launch. It's considered a hidden treasure for nature lovers and families, offering a peaceful escape with opportunities for wildlife spotting. However, some note that noise from the nearby road and marina can detract from the tranquility.
"Really like coming here for a short yet satisfying walk. There's a small public pier with kayak launch, and a looping pathway with crushed shells. There are some wooden boardwalks along the path overlooking water scenes. The path goes by the Maritime Museum too, with its own water view. The first time I came by here, there were lots of ducks around the public pier - so fun to watch! Saw some deer too. Quite a few picnic tables and some benches."

"Nice little park with plenty of picnic space and opportunities to see the water. A short hike, but nice! There is a lot of noise from the road and the marina, so just don't expect 100% peace and quiet"

"I can't recommend this facility enough. Staff was so helpful and the venue is just beautiful. We used the venue for a Celebration of Life and all that came quickly said how beautiful it was and noted it was a hidden treasure. And another added benefit is that the kids that came to our event enjoyed themselves playing outside the pavilion never getting bored. This beautiful family friendly venue truly made our event a success!"
