"Great place for launching kayaks and rubbing. Fair prices. Bathrooms and changes rooms need some.major cleaning. Looks like is hasn't been done all season.
Get there early as parking fills up fast during warm days."
Jeffery Martin
"Love this place.. the trip to Gallop is perfect.. about 2 1/2 hours. There are 5 drops or so with slight rapids.. easy if you know what you're doing. Please put yoir phone and valuables in a plastic bag or leave on the car. Everytime I've been there people are crying about losing a phone. Don't feed the swans.. they'll capsize you're boat."

Essential items to bring include waterproof bags for electronics and valuables, as well as snacks and drinks, as many visitors opt for picnics. While rentals are available, bringing your own tubes or rafts can be more economical. The availability of a free air pump is a convenient bonus.
