"We took the self guided tour, on Friday afternoon. It was not Not crowed, and the Animals were all friendly! Staff was super knowledgeable and helpful, and they do an amazing job! We loved the experience and highly appreciate, and recommend, visiting the Spilt Creek Farm. The store had great items in the fridge, and I purchased some award winning feta for myself and as a gift, and goats milk lotion. Granddaughter also picked out a soft goat, stuffed animal, since she couldn’t have a real goat!🤣"

"Neat place to visit and walk around at your leisure. There is a small shop on the premises, but not all items are available at all times. You can call for availability. We will have to return for a homeschool field trip as well as a visit when the kids are born in the spring!"

"We went on a self-guided tour of Split Creek Farm, a goat dairy farm in Anderson. I’ll be honest, I wanted to pet all the animals. 😍 There aren’t just goats on the property. We saw pigs, chickens, roosters, guineas, dogs, and cats.

You can pet the animals that you come across on the farm. We fell in love with this one retired dairy goat in particular that kept rubbing her head against our legs. So sweet! 🥰
Before we left, I grabbed a few bottles of Split Creek Farm’s yogurt in all the flavors—strawberry, mixed berry, and lemon. It has a somewhat thick consistency to it, similar to a smoothie, but very drinkable…and so yummy!
I would suggest wearing tennis shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty because it is a working farm. Also, leave your pets at home.
If you’re looking for a fun (free) summer activity to do with your kiddos, definitely recommend visiting."
