"Eklutna lake was amazing, we ended up only walking for about 8 miles total, but there was so much more to explore! They have bike and kayak rentals. Some parts of the trail have been effected by erosion, so be careful close to the edge of the trail closest to the water. We didn’t see any big wildlife but saw a huge bear paw print in some fresh mud!"

"This lake is a special place! Visited here recently and all I can say is WOW! I've visited Crater Lake in Oregon, and I can say that this lake is much more special than Crater Lake! It is quiet and the awesome part is it is off of the highway, and the noise level is next to none. I highly recommend coming to visit this lake! It's the best lake I've ever visited!"
