People say you have to fly to Switzerland or Antarctica for views like this… but what if I told you this is ALASKA? 🇺🇸❄️ Just 45 minutes from Anchorage, we took a helicopter with @Alaska Helicopter Tours to Knik Glacier — and yes, this is a private tour with no crowds, just you and the ice. The best part? You don’t need a passport — just a Real ID if you live in the U.S. And it’s WAY cheaper than ...

This is one of the most scenic train rides in the U.S. The ride between Anchorage and Seward on Alaska Railroad takes 4.5 hours and costs $116 one way but is worth it for the views 😍 Follow @mindovermattertravel for more travel tips 🙌#visitalaska #alaska #alaskalife #ust#USTravelavelusa #travelmore #naturetravel #alaskarailroad #scenicview #scenictrain #travelalaska #fulltimetravel #traveltiktok #...

📍Alaska musuem of science and nature, Anchorage @alaskasciencemuseum (Otherwise known as the dinosaur museum🦕😆). Another great indoor option. Even though temps are rising, it’s about to be mud season for a bit and we’d rather not have messy toddlers sometimes 😆. There is a kids play area, and the actual musuem is really great for all ages actually. Play area: •assorted toys and puzzles and...

While some note its smaller size, the quality of displays and friendly staff ensure a highly recommended and worthwhile experience.

"Nice science center and fun for the kids. The staff here are friendly and very helpful. My family and I came here on a field trip and were given scavenger hunts to complete for a smell prize. The kids loved it. Highly recommend taking the family here for a visit. The only downside is it’s small, but worth the trip."

"A smaller museum but a nice collection. My tween and I spent about an hour and a half there"

Vivian Takach

"Me and my wife went there on our honeymoon, and we are big museum buffs. I can say without a doubt, that this is one of the best Paleontology Museums we've ever been too, and we live near the DC Smithsonian. This museum is very informative, and breaks down the information in a very digestive way. Has a great balance of interactive, and non interactive exhibits. It also had a lot of things I've only ever heard about, and seeing them first and was spectacular. The host at the front desk was also very sweet and kind!"
