"I think honestly I would have to give the botanical gardens a 4.5 we enjoyed it very much. Couldn't have picked a nicer day weather wise to visit the gardens. The check-in was simple reasonably priced friendly attendant even to the point of suggesting some bug spray which worked wonderfully and my girlfriend adores. The loop Trails through the garden are short but filled with a variety of plant life the displays are interesting. The garden staff was more than friendly and informative if you have the time when Anchorage a visit to the botanical gardens should definitely be on your to-do list.. we certainly enjoyed ours"

"Beautiful garden that has great scenery and tons to do and learn. Christmas is the time to go!! Visit when they have the lights set up. It’s a walking tour so wheelchairs and strollers can be a little tough to get around in with ice and snow. There is a building with a bathroom."

"We had such a delightful time together, walking on the garden paths and exploring the gardens! So much beauty and color to see everywhere you look! Peonies, those stunning beauties and my personal favorite, are showcasing their blooms, encouraging visits from bees 🐝 happy to oblige! While still other varieties of peonies are just thinking about budding. Many Star Gazers are out, as are the delicate and colorful Columbine. The ever magnificent Chocolate Lilies would not go unnoticed! So much vibrancy and greenery here! This was my first time exploring the gardens at this time of year> mid June. Many flower buds teasing you with their promise of full bloom, and tempting you to return and discover their beauty in within several weeks!
Unfortunately, the majority of my picture taking was with another camera, but I hope this offering, will delight you nonetheless."
