What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
La Palma Park is appreciated for its spacious dog park and community feel, with friendly visitors and good open spaces. However, recurring issues with locked restrooms and unreliable water fountains in the dog park detract from the experience for some. The presence of a homeless population is also noted by visitors.
"I love the wide open space on the large dog side. The small dog side can get busy quick. Plenty of water sources the community here are very nice from my experience"
Richard
"Prayed over the park, rebuked false wicked wvil spirits away, concecrated it with out paint pens and i cleaned up after my self. While the bathrooms were closed."

"I visited La Palma Park last Sunday around noon while walking Mika, my husky. I passed through the park to reach the gated dog park next to it. Overall, the park was clean, but I found it strange that the restrooms were locked in the middle of the day. A local mentioned that this is normal, which seems inconvenient for visitors.
It was also disheartening to see many homeless individuals sleeping in the park. With some remodeling taking place, I couldn’t help but wonder where they are supposed to go for basic needs like restrooms. It’s a sad reality to witness.
On a positive note, the park itself appears to be well-maintained, and the dog park was a nice feature for pet owners. However, I hope the city addresses the concerns regarding restroom accessibility and support for the homeless community."
