"Had the pleasure of visiting. What a wonderful place. Anyone interested in Native American should stop by. The hours vary by season check before going. They have event room they rent out. Stop by to support this all volunteer museum."

"As a heritage center this place is overflowing with history, artifacts, displays and a passionate and knowledgeable staff. During a recent trip on the Memorial Day weekend the wife and I made a stop to see what we could learn and experience. Inside is plenty of artwork that can be purchased, tours, and a more hands on scouting exhibit. When you enter you are greeted by a dance hall which has seating and plenty of plains art, totems, and other regalia. From there, as you move through the exhibits, and display cases, there is plenty of information on things that we may recognize from movies or television: head dresses, weapons, masks and other sorts but help you realize what tribes they represent, and their importance. In fact during my visits there were some First Nation folks there to gather more about their history. If you have visited History of the plains museum in Rapid City, you will love this place too."
