"So awesome and breathtaking! We were able to see an entire process of going through one of the locks from above:) We are soooo glad we stopped. The tour was top notch and best of all free! 5 out of 5 stars! Highly recommend. Thank you, Rachel and Jeff."

"If you're looking for something to do Monday-Friday go check out the Lock and Dam! It's 100% free, they have tours at 10am, 1pm and 3pm which is very educational and really cool! During the fall we are told is the best time to visit because it's harvest season and there's a lot more barges coming along the river so theres a better chance to see it all in action. 10 out of 10 would go again."

Travis Bricker

"Great museum with interactive exhibits. There was a scale hydraulic model of how the locks work and a barge piloting simulator. I really liked the dam shirt as well."
