"Such a pretty park for an easy hike or bike ride. Benches along the way to rest and enjoy the colorful leaves. Easy parking. We are from Austin and we hardly remember what it's like to rake a walk in a city park with no tents or trash everywhere. We loved our stay in Alpharetta."

"Big Creek Greenway isn’t trying to be Yellowstone. It’s just a trail that gets the job done. Wide, shaded, and easy to follow, whether you’re walking, biking, or pretending you’re outdoorsy for an afternoon. Yes, I’m talking to you. Yes. You. Everyone knows you fake being an outdoor person. We all talk about it at work.
Clear maps, plenty of entrances, and the kind of quiet where you can actually hear yourself think. Nothing flashy, just solid. And sometimes that’s exactly what you need."

"Love this trail. It's wide, paved, quiet and when I went there , it wasn't too busy at all. The trees do a nice job shading the path, but they also let the sun shine through beautifully in certain spots. It's one of my new fave trails now! I've been to quite a few trailheads of the Greenway, didn't know this one existed. There are plenty of ways to get lost and turn this way or that way (I have no sense of direction hehe). So I made sure to walk straight (no turns). Can't wait to walk it again. Very calming and peaceful. No gnats (thank GOODNESS ). Can't put my finger on what made this one different. Didn't see any animals/wildlife as mentioned in the other reviews. Will make an update if I do!"
