"I think it was 1978 4th of July, a bit humid, but beautiful sky and the trees, wow! We were there to race, race for Wide World of Sports, the crowd and race each other, all skate boarders, long boards, skate cars, awesome! The local population was the friendliest bunch ever, the best! We were treated like family in town for the weekend, great time!"
