"A proper country park. No trashy entertainments, no food stalls, just nice countryside with peace and quiet. A nice bike ride from Sandy Water Park in Llanelli up to Mynydd Mawr and back is 25 miles there and back along the old tramway. A fine view from the top of the park."

"I took our baby daughter out for an hour in the pram this morning. A beautiful day matched with a beautiful park.
The loop has plenty of little paths with rivers, woodland and activities for little ones. We "Tip-toed as quiet as a mouse" and "Trotted like a horse" near the river!
A lovely walk, very highly recommended."

Danny Balbini

"Visited Mynydd Mawr today, beautiful place to walk the dogs, lots of different little paths to wander off and explore the nature and wildlife. Lots of little streams trickling with the calm sounds of water, lots of mini bridges to cross. If you're looking to pack a picnic there's lots of benches to sit at and other seats to rest your feet. Unfortunately not very wheelchair/disabled access friendly. Parking is free."
