"A rare 'spare' Saturday meant I had an opportunity to join my family for a lovely walk around one of the lakes at North Yorkshire Water Park.
With plenty of parking, excellent facilities and a total joy if you love water-based sports, I thoroughly enjoyed 'great outdoors' at this Wykeham location.
The interpretation boards dotted around the lake are really informative and I loved the dragonfly theme.
We also stopped for a bit to eat in the cafe, which was busy.
It had a really good menu and was reasonably priced.
The staff were lovely and the wait time was minimal.
If you love walking, this is a great place to stretch the legs.
Dog friendly too."
