Some minor critiques mention the cafe layout, but the positive aspects overwhelmingly make it a highly recommended visit.
"After watching the building of this wonderful site I along with my daughter journeyed to see how things had turned out. We were not disappointed. We picked a day that was wall to wall sunshine and reasonable temperatures and just wandered around the beautifully structured paths and just kept finding areas of delight. It was busy but never felt overwhelming. Lovely to see RHS seating on quite a sizeably made lawn area. Stopped for a pitza (a real one) and a coffee, reasonably priced and delicious with hardly any waiting time. Continued our walk through the Forest walk and onto the lake. An absolutely wonderful unhurried day."

"Great place to visit, especially on a fine day. Plenty to see and options for a coffee and a sit in the sun. Hot houses were amazing and it was great to read all about the communities that use the garden. Plenty of space and woodland play area for children. Highly recommended.recommend."

"There is something lovely and calm about these gardens. Returning after 3(?) years, the planting has matured amazingly and it looks beautiful. The cafe has also improved slightly (there was a queue of 3 people not 20) but it is still a bizarre and not very practical layout. Scones are nice!"
