"Lovely day out, quite expensive (good cause) but bringing a snack and drink would be wise. Really peacefull and great array of plants, trees and flowers! The pond by the glass house has really intrigued mirror carp that come to the edge and super friendly ducks :)"

"Wisley & Ockham Commons & Chatley Heath is 800 acres of heathland and woodland at the junction of the M25 and the A3, they are within easy reach of visitors from across the south-east are a fantastic place to cycle, run, walk your dogs, picknick or just to enjoy nature. It’s an added bonus that it’s just a stone’s throw away from our house in Byfleet, so we feel like we have the woods in our backyard… It gets extremely muddy when it rains, but you’ll still find a large number of people of all ages doing lots of outdoor activities regardless."

"We use Wisley as a fuel stop, although my other half is a member of the RHS. So car gets plugged in, we use the loo, then eat at their very nice restaurant possibly stretching our legs around the grounds first"
