"What a gem of a place so peaceful to walk round the lovely gardens. There’s a bridge to walk over with a stream/pond and very large leaves from some of the plants. We had a walk round the house which was nice to read and see how the Nettlefold family lived the years there.
Was a nice restaurant that served nice food, has it was a nice hot day we sat on the terrace enjoying the views. Plus I can’t believe this was 20 minutes away from where we live.
If you get the chance go and pay a visit. 😊"

"Lovely historical house, but the real jewel is the extensive gardens. I went on a lovely sunny day and everything was in bloom! There is a variety of different garden styles, and I recommend you visit all of them. I particularly enjoyed the woodland walk - not what I expected. There was a wooden walkway over water with gigantic lilies - just spectacular. There is a lovely little tea shop that sells cakes and some savoury options. I had the soup of the day."
