Visitors praise Wendover Woods for its beautiful woodland setting, excellent family-friendly trails like 'Stick Man', and well-maintained facilities including a cafe. It's a popular spot for walking, cycling, and running, with dedicated trails for various activities. However, many find the parking and on-site amenities to be quite expensive.
"Lovely place to visit around November for some beautiful autumn colour. Large car park, big cafe with a good menu, clean toilet and plenty of facilities to keep the little one busy. The only thing I don't like about this place is how expensive everything is - parking is £7 for 4 hours (and don't be like us who stayed an extra 27 mins and had to pay £13 ...), foods and drinks are really quite expensive. I guess it is the price to pay for good amenities."
Ted Fung
"A great day out! Lovely ‘Stick Man’ trail, which has got great little obstacles throughout the route. There is a short 1km walk for you by we children and then an extended loop which has a few extra areas to play. Good facilities. Parking was £7 for 4 hours."
Christopher Rees
"Great place to visit full of nice walks including accessible walks for wheelchairs and push chairs. Parking a touch expensive at £7 for up to 4 hours however worthwhile as the facilities are well kept."
