What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Welwyn Garden City Station is a functional transport hub, praised for its friendly staff and convenient location within a shopping center. However, some travelers report occasional issues with inaccurate platform displays and the lift being out of service. Despite these drawbacks, it's considered a decent part of the UK's rail system.
"Sometimes the overwhelming amount of people trying to get in and out of the station can be an annoyance, but honestly the times I came through WGC Station were mainly at peak hours."
Emily Pearson
"Friendly staff allowed us to view this beautiful specimen of British engineering."
Jeff Alderson
"Could be worse given the shoddy state of Uk stations. That said, they have a terrible habit of occasionally posting the wrong platform number for a train. I’ve literally just got on a train at the correct time to what was on the screen as the correct platform. But it’s going the opposite way. Not the first time they’ve done this.
Occasionally the lift breaks too.
Otherwise it’s about as mediocre as the rest of this shoddy shoddy rail system. I wouldn’t mind third world rail system if the prices were also third world. Sadly they aren’t."
