"A quaint and interesting little harbour and a lovely place for a wander or just to sit with a coffee. There are numerous information boards dotted around the harbour outlining its history. Back in the day iron ore mined in the Brendon hills arrived here on the West pier, via the West Somerset Mineral Railway, for onward shipping to Newport in Wales. On the quay you'll also find a statue of 'The Ancient Mariner' a tribute to the 'Rime of the Ancient Mariner' by Samuel Taylor Coleridge."
